Plug plate (also called hole-with-piece plug gauge) is used as a gauge to measure the inner hole diameter; for plug gauges larger than Φ65 and above, it can be made in a single-head incomplete type. It is also referred to as clip plate/clip gauge (non-standard), shaft clip plate, through gauge, through gauge stop, and plug gauge.
Product Description
During inspection: if the through end of the snap plate can pass through the workpiece, but the end cannot pass through the workpiece, the workpiece is considered qualified. If the through end of the snap gauge can pass through the workpiece and the end can also pass through the workpiece, the workpiece size is too small and should be scrapped. If both the through end and the stop end cannot pass through the workpiece, the workpiece size is too large, is not qualified, and must be reworked.
